From 30 October to 1 November, Baku will once again become the key gathering place for healthcare professionals.

One of the most significant events in Azerbaijan’s healthcare sector, the 27th Azerbaijan International Exhibition Medical Innovations – Medinex 2025, brings together medical specialists, heads of healthcare institutions, entrepreneurs, distributors, and investors.

Held amid ongoing reforms aimed at modernising the national healthcare system, the dynamic growth of industry, and improvements in the quality of medical services, Medinex 2025 serves as a vital platform for promoting innovation, sharing knowledge, and fostering new partnerships.

The Medinex exhibition is supported by the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance and the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TƏBİB). Both institutions will also be represented at the exhibition with their own stands.

The Executive Director of the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TƏBİB), Vugar Gurbanov, noted that the exhibition creates favourable conditions for the emergence of new opportunities and the development of mutual cooperation:

“Today, the implementation of modern technologies in the medical field contributes to more flexible, efficient, and transparent management, as well as to increased patient satisfaction. From this perspective, the Medinex exhibition holds great significance. In turn, the Chairman of the Board of the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance, Zaur Aliyev, emphasised that Medinex serves as an important platform for presenting the latest achievements and innovative solutions in the healthcare sector:

The leading company in Azerbaijan’s pharmaceutical sector, Zeytun Pharmaceuticals, is once again serving as the Gold Sponsor of the Medinex exhibition for the second consecutive year.

At present, around 80 companies from Azerbaijan, Belarus, the Republic of Korea, China, Egypt, Oman, Uzbekistan, Poland, Kazakhstan, Italy, the Russian Federation, Turkey, and Ukraine have confirmed their participation in the exhibition. This year, international interest in Medinex has grown even further. The exhibition is also expected to welcome a number of high-level guests from different countries, including a delegation led by the Minister of Health of Ukraine, Viktor Liashko. On 31 October, the second day of the exhibition, bilateral pharma talk titled “From Dialogue to Cooperation: Pharmaceutical Opportunities of Ukraine and Azerbaijan” will be held with the participation of the Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Liashko, Deputy Minister Edem Adamanov, a Member of the Ukrainian Parliament, and representatives of Ukrainian pharmaceutical companies. The session will explore opportunities for cooperation in the pharmaceutical field between the two countries, discuss investment prospects, and address other mutually significant topics.

Medinex covers all key sectors of the healthcare and medical industry. The exhibition will showcase a wide range of areas, including medical equipment and devices, information technologies in medical services, medical supplies and consumables, pharmaceuticals, vitamins and dietary supplements, orthopaedic equipment and devices, prosthetic technologies and assistive devices, dental equipment, instruments, and services, optical and ophthalmological equipment, paediatric medical devices and specialised services, innovative laboratory equipment and technologies, pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and ready-made solutions, healthy nutrition and nutritional science, medical education and training, aesthetic and cosmetic medicine and etc.

A dedicated section, Beauty Azerbaijan, will present a variety of products and services related to the beauty industry.

On the first day of the exhibition, before the official opening ceremony, an Morning Cocktail was organised in the foyer of the Baku Expo Center for Medinex 2025 participants – doctors, healthcare professionals, and invited guests. Held for the first time, this event aimed to promote communication, networking, and stronger cooperation among professionals working in the healthcare sector. The Morning Cocktail created valuable opportunities for meaningful dialogue and interaction between industry representatives. The event was sponsored by Zeytun Pharmaceuticals.

As part of Medinex 2025, a blood donation campaign is being held within the framework of the corporate social responsibility project. This charitable initiative takes place on 30 October, the first day of the exhibition, at the blood donation point located in the foyer of the Baku Expo Center. The campaign is organised on the initiative of the Medinex exhibition organisers, in cooperation with the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB), the Hemophilia Patients Association of Azerbaijan, and the Central Blood Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The goal of the event is to promote a culture of blood donation in society and to provide real assistance to patients in need of blood. All exhibitors and visitors are invited to join this noble charitable initiative, contributing to social solidarity and offering support to children in need of medical care.

Medinex 2025 will feature a comprehensive business programme. Traditionally, the Presentation Zone will host panel discussions, presentations, and seminars covering key topics in the medical field that will capture the attention of both visitors and participants.

Attendees will be offered not only the opportunity to explore the latest medical technologies but also to take part in a practical and informative training session designed to enhance medical awareness and preparedness. On the first and last days of the exhibition, a vital training session titled “First Aid Training: BLS (Basic Life Support) – For Everyone” will be held. The training will share practical and educational information on the importance of proper first aid in saving lives and why such knowledge is essential for every individual. Participants will learn about the key principles of safe and effective first aid. The purpose of this training is to improve emergency response skills, enhance medical literacy, and contribute to the overall public health and safety of society.

Over the three days, the Presentation Zone will host a series of expert sessions, including: “Cellular and gene therapy”, “New Horizons in the Treatment of Brain Tumors”, “Endocrinology. Diabetes mellitus and diabetes insipidus”, and the seminar “Multidisciplinary Treatment of Hemophilia”. In addition, case sessions will be held on “Rheumatology Today”, “The concept of oncoplastic surgery in modern oncomammology”, and “Cognitive impairments and depression”, along with presentations on “3D SCHROTH Method for the Treatment of Spinal Curvatures: Scoliosis, Kyphosis, and Lordosis” and “Genetics in pediatric cardiology - from science to practice”. The programme will also feature panel discussions on “Interventional Radiology – TAVI”, “Quality Management and Infection Control in the Development of Medical Services”, and “New Approaches in Hereditary Oncological Syndromes” — all focusing on key topics in modern medicine.

Within the framework of the exhibition, two thematic seminars of special interest to the professional community will also take place: “Calgary–Cambridge Model: Global Standards of the First Consultation”, which will present international experience and modern approaches to the process of primary patient consultation, and “Patient Journey Map: The Foundation of Managing a Modern Private Clinic”, where participants will learn about effective methods of organisation and management in healthcare institutions.Both seminars will be conducted by international experts invited.
